What Is an ESL Class?
AILI provides several levels of English Language Courses. Our courses provide you with the ideal opportunity to begin learning English. If you have hardly any experience with English, then you’ll find that our group ESL lessons are a great start to understanding the basics and building your skills.
AILI ESL courses begin with the alphabet and pronunciation, but if you feel you’re beyond the basics, there are other courses that can meet your needs. Conversational English is key, and your comfort with the English language is our priority.
What Are the Goals of an ESL Class?
As mentioned before, we begin with foundational knowledge and match your progression in the language until you are comfortable speaking and listening. Our beginner classes focus on spelling, syntax, and continual practice. All of our classes are kept small on purpose, to invite more thorough learning and practice. You are guaranteed the attention and time you need to increase your language skills.
As you advance, you’ll be introduced to both formal and informal speaking practice, greater abstract speaking, and eventually, you may choose to reduce your accent in English. Our classes can be held in person or online, and a typical course should take ten weeks.
If needed, you can choose more immersive classes or private lessons, depending on what goals you have set for yourself in pursuing English as a second language.

- Classes are NON-REFUNDABLE after the registration deadline.
- Only classes canceled or rescheduled by the Atlanta International Language Institute will allow for a refund in full.
